A Friday at home. I don't get this at work...lol

Ok my battery is pretty horrible, as soon as I start using it the battery drops (browsing web and downloading Apple Music tracks). I can deal with charging it throughout the day but the actual battery life longivity for me has been disappointing. Screenshot_20181104-213335.jpegScreenshot_20181104-213344.jpeg

That's a helluva cliff ... Cell connection, maybe?

Here is mine this weekend... Not a bunch of screen time but never had anything like this.

I was out all day at a buddies place helping him outside and had full signal, at my house I get a few bars. I am tempted to turn off adapative battery but hoping it will Click soon...I just haven't seen the battery being consistent yet. I'm on day 4.

Indeed. Give that a go .. I know it took my battery several days to start to settle in to my usage and I use the adaptive battery feature. But some say things are are better without it.

My first phone with always on display, but seems might need to turn it off. Do you guys get the same drain? 8 hours was from overnight idle on WiFi. Also noticed sometimes it seems too bright, is there a way to decrease the brightness?

I have AoD off but have raise to wake and double tap on. Ya overnight idle does drain battery quite a lot more than I'm used to seeing on iPhone 7+. I'd expect maybe 5-10% overnight, this is casting a Netflix show and passing out. With my pixel seeing 20-30%.

On an overnight..?? That's way extreme.. Maybe run one this week and post it? That just sounds like you've got a rouge app or something outside of the norm happening.

My 3 is great now. Had it about 4 days now. Haven't really looked into it but just noticed it's getting better. As good as my 2XL was at the moment anyways.

Sure I'd appreciate the help...I'm getting my pixel stand soon which will be used overnight but I'll capture tomorrow and post

Oh, is 5-10% overnight normal with AoD?
Then it might be acceptable after all. Was at 89% actually when waking up (wasn't able to take a screenshot then), the posted screenshot was after commuting to work (Spotify offline play on train with bluetooth headphones).
Anyway, just been using the phone for 2 days. Will post again probably after a week or so. Thanks!

Based on your screen I think your AoD at 7% is pretty good over all that time. And sorry to confuse you, I meant with iPhone 7+ I was only losing 5-10% overnight but with my pixel I'm more at 20-30% which isn't good.

19 days in and my battery says I'll get 1 day + 4 hours.
I usually do 5+ hours of screen time.
I won't turn AOD OFF, ever.
I control my brightness manually and usually 50%.
I never touched Adaptive Battery, just ignored it.
So far I'm just fine with the battery life I'm getting.

today I managed 4.5 hours (8% left) with the pixel 3--second fully day! that's with having Bluetooth on all day for my Huawei watch, and wifi on for half the day (when I got home).

good amount of social media and YouTube, with a couple hours Chromecast (Netflix), and general browsing on chrome.

hope it only gets better!

Well it would depend on how long you were casting

Ya i dont make it past 10 mins, i think it times out after 30 mins (i.e. Netflix asks if you're still there)? Anyway, last night was much better i only lost 8% from 1am-7:30am which is a good sign, and this included my netflix routine (which i seriously got to stop, bad habit)
