disappearing wallpaper

So, randomly on my Pixel 3xl, my screen is black when I turn on the phone. It has been updated to 10. Anyone else?

Are you using a preinstalled wallpaper or a custom/3rd party one? Static or live?

This happened to me to the 1st day I updated. I restarted the phone. The wall paper was back and haven't had an issue since. I was/am using a 3rd party wall paper.

Does it persist if you go in and change the wallpaper? Doesn't matter which one -- just change it, and then change it back to your preferred one, if you'd like.

Is this after changing the wallpapaer, or did it seem to get better on its own?

It got better on its own. And now I'm onto third party Halloween live wallpaper. Go figure.

Just happened to me. Using a fingerprint to unlock my phone (Smart lock has not worked right since the update) there was no wallpaper just icons. It's the same personal wallpaper I've had on my phone since Nov 2018 rebooted phone and it came back.

This has been happening to me as well, are you using Nova as your launcher?

No. Pixel launcher. It hasn't happened since last week, so hopefully resolved.

Still happening on mine occasionally.

Maybe go into settings then apps >go to Google wallpaper and clear data,cache, force stop and set up wallpaper again
