Screen Protector advice

Hello,

I've been looking for a screen protector. I somehow managed a scratch that I can only feel with my fingernail, but unnoticeable by looking at it or running my finger over it. Hopefully it doesn't spread, if that possible.

What would be a good screen protector to just help with any scratches. I dont necessarily need drop proof. I have an otterbox defender case on it. I want a screen protector that wouldn't leave a gap between it and case.

So far ive seen the supershieldz but doesn't look like it covers it. (I'm aware that most protectors don't for the pixel)

Any suggestions would be welcomed. Looking for anything under $10.

Keep it in the case. (I've had a couple of phones in Defender cases for over 4 years, and even after all the mishandling, the phones are like new.)

But if you absolutely have to have a protector, use a plastic one - tempered glass for the Pixel line is still in the "not ready for prime time" stage - you'll get edge lift, rainbows, etc.

Looking at this, it looks like my case would cover the gaps? I saw that covers the whole thing but idk if that would interfere with case..which I don't plan on removing
