When the "package file invalid" error swept across the Play Store, I gave Hideman VPN a try. It wasn't too slow, it was reliable, and it just plain worked. The free version allowed for 5 hours of use per week, and most all premium features were available for those 5 hours. Now, as if they felt compelled to not set themselves apart from competition, the free version is more limited than ever.
Before I consider buying premium access (it's actually quite cheap), I'd like to know if any of you have suggestions? I'd like to give another free app a try. I don't mind hour limits or ads, or even if it shuts off after bandwidth limits are met, so long as it's free and it has the major countries to choose from (US/Canada/UK/etc). Thanks.
