Does the HTC 10 home button click down?

I've been using my HTC 10 for two days and I thought the finger printer scanner button had a press down click?
It's not pressing down now and I can't remember if it really did or I am imagining it.

If it does press down then how can I fix it, as it has stuck.

It's haptic. Feels kind of like a click, but doesn't actually move

I purchased my htc 10 3 days ago it's a very good smart phone the home button actually feels like it has a very very soft click it's very soft and almost not noticeable, i noticed it when i hold the button to launch google now but it's not actually a click like the galaxy s7's home button. I feel it click down less than 0.5 cm but it's not actually a click, it's not moving. Is it normal or is this a flaw?!. Should the button has not any soft clicks at all?
