HTC desire 820s has been switched off within 2 moth

I put my cell on charging (it was at 36%) and it was fine but after half an hour I checked it it was switched off. ever since then it is not switching on or charging.I have tried other chargers as well and tried charging it from my laptop but no use... the charging light does not turn on and the phone is still not switching on. HELP!!!

I am facing the same issue. first time when it happened I left my phone unplugged for a day or two and then put on charging again and it worked. Not sure what is causing the issue but I observed that in both cases I left my wifi on while charging the phone overnight.
