getting a stock replacement evo and want to root it

I dropped my rooted, evolved recharged EVO 4g in engine oil at work today and did insurance claim. I swear I'd rather deal with spot on screen than re-rooting new device. Is there any way I can switch sd cards and regain root or do I need to go through whole revolutionary process again?

Same thing happened to my friends phone. Switching the SD card over to the new phone will only move the data stored over on the card. You will have to root the new phone again. Followed the steps on the link below and had it done in about 10 minutes. Worked perfect
