Uninstall Swype to install Swype beta

Hoping for a bit of guidance here.

I have a rooted Evo with MynTwoPointTwo RLS5 on it.

It, of course, came with Swype that now comes stock on all EVOs.

I love using Swype however there are a few issues with this version that I know got resolved in new Beta releases. I have been a beta tester for almost a year and I know I cant when the production version is on my phone.

So, is it possible to uninstall the production version so that I can get the beta one on my phone?

Under Setting >Applications, I can find Swype but uninstall is grayed out.

Download Titanium Backup from the market. It it allow you to delete anything you want.

Didn't work for me on my Galaxy tab, it crashed it, couldn't reboot
Still got this damn swype!
