Anyone else see an improvement in 4G? Sitting at my desk at work before I could sometimes connect to 4G, but never usable (~200kbps down if it worked at all). Now I still get the one bar, but I get speeds over 2000kbps. Outdoor reception remains the same, if I walk out onto the balcony 3 feet away from my desk it jumps up to 3 bars like before, and has comparable speeds.

I may actually have a reason to turn on 4G now.

I made a post about this earlier, seems to be faster for me now.

Seems a little better here too, but that's something that needs to be verified over time.

WiFi is no better on my end though. It occasionally shows an extra bar, but speeds are still useless (0.53 Mbps down. Guh).

Scrolling and universal search seem to have lost that "hitch" when initially using them. I could be imagining this or it could be because of the restart, but we'll see.

Yes it has improved my battery big time! I am still at 80% from 8am with fairly heavy use. I would have normally have to have had to charge it by now. Im thrilled and hopeful it isnt a fluke. If that was the issue with the battery life than it must have been because of Exchange sync and social networking issues as the update mentions.

Just re-read the entire thread, and here's a summary of the apparent benefits and problems related to the update:

Benefits:

More responsive screen
Better WiFi
Grounding issue fixed
EAS security tweaks
Possibly better 4G performance
Better battery life (only for facebook users?)

Problems:

No unRevoked; I have a number of programs that rely on this.
No Free Tethering
No ShootMe (not really a big deal for me, but....)
No Titanium backup (root capabilities)
Lost stock Android Wallpapers
No way to turn off Sense (not a big deal to me, but...)
Possible issue with text entry in texting app (does this affect Handcent?)
Possible Accelerometer problem
Possible Skype problem

Risk of bricking phone with no replacements available.

I'm definitely holding of on this update for a while. The following issues didn't affect me:

WiFi (mine seems fine in the few places I can use it)
Screen Grounding (never had an issue)
Battery (I get 12 - 15 hours per charge, and don't use facebook anyway)
EAS (mine works fine, as my company doesn't have a security policy)

That's why I said possible. One user reported it. Just as some seem to have the text entry problem, and others don't. Too early to tell if this is just a glitch by that one user, or if it will be more widespread.

Holy crap. Good on you Sprint for letting us know. I am glad you guys don't try to ignore the large community of us rooted users

Has anyone tested the alarm since the update? Alarm goes off correctly but no notification box pops up and the alarm sound keeps playing with no way to stop it. I had to power off the phone to make it stop.

Also, on restart my HTC Sense gave a force close error.
