Quadrant Benchmark test?

I ran a test and my Evo got an 1100 something. Just saw a video of the Evo Shift, and it got about a 1400 something. My phone, with double the RAM and a much better processor should surpass that of of the Shift. Running 2.2. Whats wrong here?

Your phone does not have double the RAM. They both have 512mb of ram, but the 800mhz clocked Snapdragon in the Shift is a better and more efficient processor then the one in the Evo. The Snapdragon on it also houses the Adreno 205, where the Evo has the 200.
