New Owner of an HTC One from the Galaxy S4

Was at the 14 day point and 1/2 hour before Best Buy store closing when I finally decided to go and swap out a GS4 for the ONE. Very pleased so far. The purplish dark scene tint I had at first seems to have corrected itself somehow. And although pics are grainier and not as sharp as the GS4 I find it suits me ok for the odd convenient snap. Biggest draw of course is the stereo speakers. Didn't know a cell phone could sound so good. The GS4 certainly didn't.

SNdeepinfo reports a mfd date of 09/05/2013

JB 4.3 was uploaded to it yesterday.

At first darker scenes would flicker between bright and dark and change hues when seen through the camera. Now it seems fairly stable.

Camera is:
ST vs6869 (1.0) cinesensor 2013-07-10.

Looks like the camera is from a July batch. We'll see how it goes. I may wind up shipping it off to HTC afterall.

No problems with the dark scene below however. ISO: auto. Saturation was at -1.

the htc one camara is known for its volatility, especially in very dark environments.



don't be afraid to using the flash in very dark settings like in the photo you just took. the htc one ultra camara takes very good photos with flash.

it doesn't look like you've got a problem with your camara from that picture you've taken.

my advice to you is to just enjoy the phone, learn the different moods of your camara but don't go finding problems where none might exist.
