Turning on and off problems HTC one

Okay so every time I completely power down my HTC one it powers down like normal however when I try to switch it back on it doesn't switch on like I takes a couple of tries of pressing the on button......waiting then pressing again. What should I do?

Welcome to Android Central! How long are you keeping the Power button down? Some devices require the button to be held for upwards of 5 seconds.

Yup. My Sprint HTC One requires a 5 second press to boot the phone up.
