HTC One (M8): Question about full retail price

Hi guys, I live at Mexican boarder with California. I have have a nexus 5 factory unlocked.

I really really want M8, if I pay full price on tmo or att, can they unlock my new m8? I want to use it on usa and Mexico like I use my nexus device.

I believe they would only do that if you have an account with them.

It sounds like he/she has an account...

Personally, I have not heard a full retail price yet... I'm also curious because I have a Verizon Unlimited data plan and have to pay full price to keep the unlimited.

Att and tmobile will unlock if you meet their unlock criteria.

Another option is Verizon which sells it factory sim unlocked. Just make sure whatever variant you get has the bands that you need

There are methods to get subsidized phones and keep unlimited. See the link in my signature for more information

The new HTC One 2014 - 32 GB will be $50 less expensive than the S5 at $600 in the US as it was last year. Gold is a Best Buy exclusive according to @evleaks.
