HTC one M8 getting hot while playing games

Checking my gsm battery monitor my device is reaching 44 celsius when playing games or other intensive apps, is this normal ?

Mine can get warm when I play heavy use games. If you have come from a Galaxy, or other plastic encased device, you will probably notice it more as metal is a good conductor of heat.

Processor and battery are running at high peaks... so yea its normal

Not really a big deal if you were doing something intensive. My note 3 got to 123°F with screen off

Think positive about it. It may be uncomfortable at times, but like stated above, the metal chassis is absorbing most of the heat away from all the internals, which is good.
