My HTC One M8 is acting very weird

I recently started having problems with my phone, for the past few days after it updated overnight. My power button is acting like it's always being pressed, the pop up menus asking if i want to restart the phone or turn it off. The other message that pops up is the message that says if you want to restart the phone then hold the power and volume button for 10 seconds. These two messages will pop up randomly and wont stop. I'm also having the problem where my home key will take screen shots. I thought there might be some water in the power button from when I played music in the shower, so I put it in a bag of rice overnight and that didn't seem to help. I've read on other solutions on how to fix this but nothing is working.

Since it appears to be a bug with the update itself, I'd bring it to the carrier and ask if they could please reflash the update (just the update, not the entire ROM). I''d back the entire phone up first, anyway.
