Automatic Updates with Rooting?

Hi,

I'm new to rooting thing, and I need to root my HTC One so I can calibrate the battery with any calibration apps. Anyway, my question is, Will I still receive automatic updates from HTC after rooting? or everytime I must do it manually with an image?

There is no need to have to calibrate the battery, and once you root the only way to receive updates is to update the Rom you are running.

Then I'll give it a try, I've been looking into the process and it's not that hard I guess since mine is unlocked already. Thanks anyway and wish me luck not to blow it

I would suggest checking out xda-developers site, also check out youtube there are a ton of video's on rooting, unlocking, s-off, etc. QBKing77 has several that I found very useful.
