Huawei P20 and Air Pods 2nd Gen?

[Android Central Question]

i have my haweii p20 sync with apple airpods 2nd gen without any problems it was quick and easy but when i close the airpods case its not cutting them off,if somebody rings it goes straight to airpods even though there in a shut case,i have to unsync them and resync every time i want to use them,is there any off and off switch for them or am i stuck having to do what i am doing which is a massive pain,all help welcome

I usually just pull the notification shade and turn off the Bluetooth toggle, then turn it back on. Sometimes, I have to hold the toggle briefly and tap the reconnect, but most of the time, it picks up the phones as soon as I toggle on.

I agree just toggle Bluetooth off and on when needed
