I live out in the country.
Verizon works best here.
Seems if you can find a p30 that will work on Verizon network.
And if you do.
It don't work on a lot if the bands.
Now it seems, it ain't gonna operate on Google operating system anymore.
Looks like next year might be a better year to look at phones.
Okay thats kinda random. It still is gonna be using Google OS. Just Mate 30 Lite will be using HongMeng OS/ARC OS... Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be using Google OS.
All were taken with the P30 Pro in auto mode, some were taken while shooting a video at the same time, some were zoom shots some were wide angle etc. Love the versatility of this camera.

Please take a moment and let Huawei know that you want them to support the Camera2API in their P30 Pro devices! This will enable third party apps to access more features of the phone's camera system to let you choose higher quality settings and even more!
Without supporting the Camera2API, third party apps like the amazing FiLMiC Pro cannot work properly, and therefore cannot unleash the P30 Pro's real potential when shooting video!
You want Huawei to listen to us? Take a moment and let our voices be heard!
Follow the link and demand support of the Camera2API on Huawei devices, especially on the flagship phones like the P30 Pro!

Thanks for posting that E-Mail. But there is a lot more than just the 60 fps. The camera's hardware should support to record at 24 fps, 25 fps, and even up to 120 fps at 1080p, which currently is throwing a camera error when selecting it in FiLMiC Pro. Electronic image stabilization does not work above 1080p either.
Huawei needs to support the Camera2API to make things a lot easier or even possible at all for third party app developers. I really hope they have plans to do this, otherwise the P30 Pro will be my first and last Huawei smartphone I ever bought.

Absolutly i al completly with you on this one, i am pretty sure it is a limitation both by api2 and the kirin 980 which simply is not good enough in the video camera department would have been better to have more option like 4k60 and 4k24/25 i am not sure if Huawei will change this but is worth a try. I remember doing something similar previously with Xiaomi and they enabled 4k60 so you never know. The only thing is they need enough requests to make it a thing (open up api2) to work on from their end.
