Can I not pair a Huawei Watch 2 with S20+?

[Android Central Question]

Hi all

My phone doesn't see my watch at all. Not through the phone's bluetooth or through the Huawei health app. I've installed the AppGallery APK and installed the latest Huawei Core Mobile Services and Huawei Health but it doesn't come up in bluetooth. Watch doesn't see my phone either.

Any ideas? Don't really want to have to factory reset my watch

Have you tried safe mode see if it sees your phone?

Welcome to Android Central! The Huawei Watch 2 is still a Wear OS watch, and probably still needs the Wear OS app. Are you able to install that? If your phone doesn't have Google services, it might be hard to connect.
