Why does my screen move to left after recent update?

After I updated my phone( HTC One) to Android 4.4.2. I immediately noticed that my screen has moved to the left. The widgets etc instead of occupying the whole screen, appear only half way, while the remaining half of the screen appear blank. I tried restarting the phone, it still didn't solve the problem. I tried removing the screen, and then re-adding the screen but it still remained the same. This is really bugging me, as I really liked my phone before this, now it's irritating.
