What is the current widget to bring Quick settings Buttons to the home screen?:
Airplane, Wifi, Mute, GPS, Mobile-Data etc.

Up to now I used "Power toggles", but the app was somehow taken over .. by Putin's hackers in order to irritate the righteous part of the world .. anyhow, it does not work, full of ads etc.

It's basically a bit strange to leave such a basic function to the market, with erratic effect.

Welcome to Android Central! I was also a big fan of Power Toggles, but unfortunately the developer told everyone that he had to abandon support for the app due to time constraints. I think he left the source code available, so someone probably started injecting ads into whatever apk you installed.

I changed to Notification Toggle, which works just as well (although the setup menus are a little confusing). But this only adds toggles to the swipedown notification panel -- not the homescreen.

Rukbat, I searched the play store and tried various apps already.
The ad-infested former Power toggles appears in the list under various names.
From the other ones I found none that brings the switches I mentioned to the home screen.

So I'd be happy to get a hint on _one_ free app that does the job.

How about Power Widget Lite? It doesn't appear to have ads -- but it looks like it will keep reminding you to consider paying for the full version.

Welcome to the forums. I used Power Toggles for a long time as well. After trying a couple of apps I decided to just edit the quick settings panel, so I have my main toggles one swipe away.

It's nice when the Quick Settings panel has what you need, but the problem with the native Quick Settings on Pixel phones is that it's not as versatile as Power Toggles or similar apps. For example, I like to have the Play Store, Calculator, and NFC toggle easily accessible when I swipe down (rather than take up real estate on my homescreen), but these aren't available.

Thanks, this has some nice options. But:
- not for airplane mode.
- only creates Icons to change the setting, but does not show its status.
- icons need more space than Power Toggles switches
