Why can't I install system update on my lg g2 ls980?

I have a Sprint lg g2 ls980zva I've got a notification to update it to ls980zvc .I downloaded the update but is not installing and it is mentioned that this is due to verification problem

Bring the phone into a Sprint store (preferably a company owned one - most of them are independents. Look for the little contact information notice, probably in gold lettering , near the door that the police use to contact them if the store gets broken into. If it's Sprint Corporation, it's a company store.

It's their update to their version of the phone, and most corporate stores can flash updates. (But I'd be leery of a notice of a 2018 update to a 2013 phone. The last update to that phone was to 5.0.2 (Lollipop) - and that was a long time ago.)
