New G3 Audio Issue

Hey AC, this is my first post and I searched and didn't see another one like it.

Over the pay few days, audio, regardless of the source: YouTube, Play Music, PocketCasts, and my alarm, just stop after one to five seconds.

The phone just continues to play whatever audio (the timer on music keeps going and YouTube videos still play), just nothing comes out of the speaker. There is a small pop and then nothing.

Also weird: when scrolling through my Facebook feed, when I pass an auto play video, my speaker makes a small pop and then hisses until I scroll past the video.

It has done this when aux is plugged into my car as well.

I am running Verizon's latest update and all my apps are up to date. Rebooted several times. Thanks all! Any help would be great!

I saw this post that talked about "sound explosions" similar to the pop you are talking about. I don't think there is a fix. Try just returning the phone.
