AT&T Lollipop OTA?

I keep reading 5.0 is readily available for AT&T G3 users yet everytime I check (about every other day for the last month) on my wife and daughters phone it says it's up to date (4.4 I believe).
Both devices are stock, no custom roms, root or unlocked. Is the update OTA or does it have to be manually downloaded?

I'm with AT&T, and i got the update last week. Maybe it depends on what part of the country you're in? I'm in Florida.
