Can I use any case for my G4 and still get wireless charging?

G4 and Qi

My G4 (due Thurs. 6/4) will be my first LG phone. After reading all the reviews I got the impression that the only way to get Qi charging was to use the circle folio case with a special back. But some here referred to Qi "stickers" used on the G3. Does this mean we can use any case (or no case) and still get wireless charging ?

Assuming the G4 is like the G3, then yes. The G4 should already have an existing sticker using the regular back for NFC. When we apply the Qi enabled sticker, we need to remove the existing one. The Qi enabled one, once available, should have both Qi and NFC. Thats how it is for the G3, and should be the same for G4. I have the G3 and will be getting the G4 and plan on doing the sticker replacement once its available.

Thanks for the quick reply. Why this is all a secret, and why the backs or stickers aren't available when the phone is being released will probably always be a mystery
