swipe to call?

on my galaxy s4 i had the ability to swipe across the contact name in my contacts list and it would call the default number for that contact, this is my first lg, much less the g series. does the g4 have anything like that? it looks like it is the more standard press the contact name and press the number you want to call under the contact.

wanting to avoid having to load a app to make this happen as i want to avoid loading up the phone with background running apps.

does it have a setting like that or am i simply sol?
