Help optimus s wont turn on!!!!

I just tried that. The only thing it did was slow down the loop but still no recovery.

try holding the key combos until you reach recovery

I've always used volume up. I even powered down my phone and booted into recovery just to double check. Have you tried that button combination? If not, it wouldn't hurt to at least try.

I've made it work using the up button as well, it just seems to take an extra second or two that way.

i seem to remember having trouble getting to recovery when i first got my fone, my method is to press volume down then home then power and hold.. as soon as i see the lg logo i let go.

i hit those buttons in sequence, instead of trying to press them all at once, and i dont wait till the lg logo dissapears, i let go the second i see it.

I tried the Up version and the Down version of entering in recovery but none seem to work.

And i also let go when the LG logo appeared but nothing

I can get into E-Mode but i dont know what to do after it says:


"Download is in progress.
Do not disconnect cable."

And in red letters

"Emergency Mode"
