I was just curious as to how best remove an app whose .apk you downloaded so that I could purchase the real app from the marketplace. The problem I'm running into is that I uninstalled the app but Google Play still recognizes that I have the app and won't let me download a paid version. Is it because the app when installed via pirated .apk file was linked to my email address to which the phone is registered to or how does that work? Please help.
