They automatically upgrade your shipment methods if the order is about to be late. Understood it is frustrating but I would recommend my approach last week - order a 32G AL right away (any model that's shipping in 1-2 business days) and asked to substitute this with your original pre-order...

Well..I thought the 32G graphite 9/29 order would be delayed so ordered a 32G aluminium on 10/29 which was delivered yesterday. Now the 32G graphite is shipped and will be arriving today..Have to decide which one to keep. BTW this phone is definitely worth the wait, took me 2 hours to get all...

Ordered 32G Aluminum yesterday and just shipped. 32G Graphite ordered on 9/29 has been processing since Monday and still not shipped. Looks like 32G AL is the only inventory they have right now.

They are simply saying they have supply issues. Extended processing time means they simply don't have it and waiting for supply as well; If they have any, the processing time is pretty fast. I would still order from google but probably one for each different models next time (jk).

Put it this way, they need a proof that you really did preorder it so that the $50 credit could be granted (they cannot override as it's a system-generated credit given to pre-order folks, this is why a special case consideration is given; anyway we did not get anything more than we should - we...

Just call them, it's a system override/special case grant and they mentioned they did that "for a number of people" already. But don't cancel your preordered phone.

Just called to be "that guy" again.. 1. Confirmed the graphite 32G is indeed delayed, confirmed; 2. Asked to send out whichever color is available as the "preordered" phone, said ok; 3. Asked the $50 Play credit, after 30-min back-and-forth, said ok! My Aluminum 32G is out by tomorrow!!Yay!!!!!

Believe you have 15 days from the day you received the device.

I had the same conversation with shipping department last night too and today got the "delay" email. I just ordered the 32G AL version and it's supposed to ship out in 1-2 business days. I am holding it as I completely lost faith in the shipping process now.

Just out of courisity did you do 2nd day shipping? If that's shipping from IL then I don't really want to do it..My USB Type C chargers ordered from Google this Monday is just delivered (from CA to NJ) and even One Plus cables arrived as well...

Same here! Just ordered another AL 32G and it's even earlier than my original 9/29 Graphite...LOL Now I have 3 orders.

Tried to do that but can't..they are saying I can't change anything on my order. I have to cancel first and make a new one (therefore losing my priority on the waiting list...) P.S.: Go NYG.

Just do it..I "preordered" this morning and now it's pending.Return the one you don't like or eBay it.
