My 64GB Alum shipped yesterday (ordered 10/8). It shipped overnight which was a nice surprise since I had free shipping on my order.

My original ship date was 11/5 so they beat that, however as you have seen there have been plenty of people ordering this config in the last week and getting it before preorders (and I am pretty sure there are still some day one people who don't have theirs yet).

I called yesterday to complain about that and the CSR was dumbfounded and told me there was "no way" that was happening. I told him there def was and he was kind enough to send me an email like others have mentioned so that I could forward screen shots of the orders. Thats why I was asking for screen shots from people, so that he can escalate the issue. Any more are encouraged, if you don't want to post it, just PM me and I can give you my email. At any rate, I am excited to get my phone today.

Summary:
6P 64GB Ordered 10/8
Processed 10/30
Shipped 11/2 free upgrade to overnight.
Delivery 11/3 (pending)
Original Delivery Nov 10-12

@Fubie, any update on your end? Has there been a charge on your card yet or if the pending went into processing?
Mine is still at pending, I really hope they do ship by the 5th. I am tempted to order another 128G graphite, says leave warehouse date is 11/12 which is only 7 days after the current date.
Nope, no change.

If you decide not to keep the graphite send it my way :)

I will most likely return the Al model since it technically does not qualify for google play credit even though I just got my $50 credit email...

BTW this time the supply issues seem to be on certain models; If you do the AL instead of grap you will get it asap (ship in 1-2 business days). Both look great to me - Frost as well.

Hope you guys enjoy the phone. It's really great. Can't complain other than a battery (1 night doze mode from 91% to 79%, well Google you could do better than that).

Anyone have any idea why Google is taking a while to deliver the phones? I only ordered mine on the 1st November so my order is still young, but have an estimated delivery date of 17-18 November. Are they just having a lot more orders than they could handle? Thanks for any reply.

P.S. Ordered the Aluminium 64GB to the UK

Here she comes! Ordered a 64 Aluminum 5 days ago (10-29-15) and my phone on on the Fedex truck for delivery today! Originally scheduled for delivery on 11-18 to 11-20.

Had to scramble to get a case and screen protector which will be here Thursday to hold me over. I usually get the speck candy grip but for some reason I want a clear TPU case. I saw a lot with the hard plastic back and TPU bumper, which I do not want.

Well just had a talk with a very helpful Google CS rep. He essentially said certain colors/sizes were not produced in the volumes they expected by Huawei and that it is causing a delay that they didn't expect and that Google is really scrambling to get all the units in. He said this is a big deal over at Google and they're trying really hard to get everything fixed and get phones out to everyone. They're expecting it to take another week, maybe 2, but he said much much sooner than that is the goal.

He also said he acknowledges that some people are ordering and getting devices "now" and that there is different stock allocated to different regions/states in the US and that people can have a completely different experience based on their location and what model/size they order. He said switching to an in-stock model is totally a fine idea, but it may still take a week or more just depending on the demand of that model in your region.

Basically, nothing we don't know, but nice to hear it very matter of fact and from Google themselves. I really appreciated him saying everything he said.

First time I feel like I've heard a straight answer from Google or anyone that I've talked to. Curious as to why they just don't own up to it?

Ordered 32GB Aluminum last night, paid for overnight shipping, it's (hopefully) set to arrive later today.

I called customer service and they transferred me to shipping regarding my Nexus 6p 64GB Frost.

It's been delayed due to technical difficulties... was supposed to arrive today but my order is still pending.

I just spoke to Saul from support who is going to "route" my support case to the shipping department. He asked me if I received a delay email which didn't sound promising at all. He said that if my order is delayed there would be no way to upgrade the shipping method. It clearly says that my order "leaves warehouse by November 2" and says nothing about it being an estimate. It's frustrating that I have to contact them about a late order instead of them contacting me. They're still taking orders for my model at this time. I really don't care about the $25 refund they give you for the delay but I wish they gave you an option to upgrade shipping or chose a different color.

Exactly this is ridiculous and the fact that they are still taking order for phone when they cant fill the order they have
currently blows my mind.

Curious why the android blog site aren't making this a bigger issue ? Seem like a legit story to me

They haven't had anything other than 32GB units in the UK, at all, ever. So it's not about high demand. It's about zero supply. They haven't even fulfilled orders from the minute the page went live.

Maybe because this happens every year when a new nexus launches?

Because they could care less since all of them got their free review phones before everyone.

They automatically upgrade your shipment methods if the order is about to be late. Understood it is frustrating but I would recommend my approach last week - order a 32G AL right away (any model that's shipping in 1-2 business days) and asked to substitute this with your original pre-order model. They will give you google play credit if the origianl order was before 10/25.

32G graphite is the one with very short supply.

Just talked to support. Mine was supposed to ship yesterday and it has been showing Pending for over 2 weeks. Was told that it should be shipping today or tomorrow and I will be recieving the email with my tracking info by tomorrow. I explained that I had ordered a case and charger last week and did not get the tracking info or update on their system until 2 days after it arrived.

Ordered: 10/2
6P 64Gb Frost. Delivery Nov 3-4
