Sorry, didn't explain well. I am always able to find out what the notification was from. My concern is the lack of responsiveness.

Sometimes I hear a message, but when I turn on screen, the notification isn't there. At these time it is often unresponsive to fingerprint and other actions. I have tried emptying cache, restart and even factory wipe. It always seems to return. Thoughts?

I did the uninstalled updates on the google app, and that seems to have worked.

When I try to use my earpiece to send a text, I get a steady tone that sounds like you are pressing and holding a number on a touch tone phone. Anyone ever had this?

Got notice for an update today. I'm with Telus. Pretty big...over 200 mb it said. Didn't have time. Anybody get this?

I have tried a few calendars and like this stock the best. other than that and messages, I use mostly blackberry hub and associated apps.

Not sure if blaming Samsung is correct. This might be an app problem, or even something picked up from a website.

Is there any way to add display to quick settings on nougat? I like to turn off the led at night, and easier access would be nice.

I sent an email to Samsung asking when I might see the update. I'm with Telus in Canada. Their reply included the statement "We are unable to speculate when/if it will be made available for Canadian mobile devices." I was shocked and disappointed. This may well be my last Samsung.

I think it is always dim. Nothing seems to be covered, as a matter of fact, I just held my thumb aboove the sensor while inside, and the screen began to dim, so that seems correct. Posted via the Android Central App
