FlexT9 is great so far.

I ditto the issues. I am a big fan of Swype since I had the Omnia II. I must admit I think I may like swiftkey a little bit more.

Thanks Thanks DroidXcon for this. Also thanks to Forgetful. I found that my 1st download of autoroot was not complete. When I downloaded it again I found the first was missing a lot of files. I am now rooted! I have noticed that the reception in get now is lower than before root. At home...

I ran through the process this time without issue. But when I try to run shootme it says I don't have root access. I rebooted a few times with no luck. Should I try again?

If I remember correctly I don't think I did. On the fastboot/hboot screen I thought the directions told me to unplug the phone from the PC and wait untill I saw some files that are checked. The checked files is what I was waiting for. Was I suppose to hit the power button to select fastboot...

I missed this question. I downloaded the program last night.

Nothing. I just sat there. I waited a while (took a shower and came back) and I never got to the point where it said I would see checked files.
