You don't have to activate it if you don't want to. I'm using mine as Bluetooth only. I just turned off the mobile network, and each time the phone is powered on I just hit no when it asks about activating it.

I had a label created in FDM on 6/3, watches didn't actually ship from IN until 6/5 and they arrived in WV on 6/8. Samsung's site updated from "pending" to giving me an actual tracking number the day after I received the watches.

The ones I got this week are definitely 3G. I'd be sure to call Samsung on that one.

I submitted 3/18, approval email on 4/7. So did you get the BOGO and will be getting a watch too? How'd you do that?

My 2 watches just arrived! To be honest, I never thought I'd ever see them! My poor husband can't use his yet... he broke his wrist about 3 weeks ago, so he'll have to wait or use it on his other wrist.

Well good news for me (and hopefully others!!), my watches are now officially on their way. FedEx shows they arrived at a location in IN today.

Our promotion was done through Samsung's page- which is why Verizon was refusing to help out most of us.

True, but I'm a 4/6 person who submitted on 3/18-- so it wouldn't be fair for me to get mine before some of the 4/18 people. This promotion is soooo screwed up, it's ridiculous!

I'm still waiting to hear back from Verizon. I have to wait until 6/2 and then I can call if she doesn't call back. I can totally understand why VZW isn't fulfilling these watches for us-- but when they do for some and not for others, that's extremely frustrating. I'm a 3/18 submitter with 4/6...

Good luck with that. I've called multiple times, contacted multiple times via Twitter & Facebook, & multiple online chats with absolutely no luck at all. I have one rep working on it for me, but I still don't see me getting even the normal S2 from Verizon. I just have to cross my fingers my S2s...

Okay, so how did you guys get Verizon to send you the Classic watch? Because I've been told "no, that isn't allowed" multiple times today. The closest I got to succeeding was an online rep who tried to find a way to get it free, told me she couldn't find it-- but told me to call the rebate dept...

Yep, mine changed to that later today too. First time it's changed in over a month!
