    My First Samsung

My Motorola had a sensor so you got the notifications and time just by moving your hand above it. That was a nice little feature.

    My First Samsung

Same here, the S22 is my first Samsung, after having only had Motorola and OnePlus before - and the same OnePlus for over four years. Curious to see if I will grow to love it as much as I did my Motorola and OnePlus phones. They both had cool little things that I liked, and so far Samsung feels...

    Preferred Keyboard

The swipe typing on Samsung Keyboard is horrendous. After trying desperately to get it to understand my swiping, I gave up and went back to Gboard. I use multiple languages and Gboard handles the auto switching between them so good.

    Buyers Remorse?

Yikes!!! That looks really bad! Looks like it's a candy bar.

    Buyers Remorse?

Maybe, but on my old 5T, the software was just spectacular. A dream to use compared to all other flavors of Android that I've tried. I've seen a lot of criticism of 9 and 9 Pro though, especially that OxygenOS 12 was full of bugs. I see that OP10Pro will use Oxygen OS 12.1, so hopefully it will...

    Buyers Remorse?

It is amazing! Though from what I've seen, the Chinese version of OnePlus 10 Pro no longer has it, but has Oppo's "ColorOS" instead, which I'm unfamiliar with. Hoping that OxygenOS spilled over to it, or that the non-Chinese versions get OxygenOS.

    Buyers Remorse?

Now that I've figured out some more stuff, I am pretty happy with the S22 and don't exactly have buyers remorse, but I also don't get why people want Samsung phones in the first place. Compared to my old OnePlus 5T, this one lacks so many niceties in the OS (I can't believe the status bar icons...

How is the battery life on S22?

Coming from a 4.5 years old OnePlus 5T with 3300 mAh original battery that had lost about 15-20% of its charging capacity, I expected my S22 with 3700 mAh to blow it out of the water batter wise, but so far... nope, feels about the same. Maybe 7-8 hours of active use. A bit disappointed...

    Buyers Remorse?

Thanks to you and others for suggesting Secure Folder function! It's not perfect for me, but definitely more than good enough, so I can keep the phone for now. :) I wish they still had user profiles, though.

So much disappointment (S22 Ultra, US T-mobile)

Definitely agree about it's annoying that the notification light is missing (I have the regular S22). Then again, I check my phone obsessively anyway, so it doesn't help much. :D

    Buyers Remorse?

Will do! I'm still trying to figure out what is configurable and what is not.

    Esim

Nice! May I ask, is that on a prepaid plan, or "regular" plan?

That it's there cluttering up everything, asking me to sign up for it.

    Buyers Remorse?

I'm not so much after the security, as the complete separation of experience - I don't want personal notifications when I'm at work, or work notifications when I'm off, for example. And I don't want a whole bunch of work apps in my non-work environment. I'll look into your suggestion and the...

    Buyers Remorse?

That is so weird. It's incredibly useful. I have never owned a Samsung phone, but since it was part of Android, at least in Android 10, I just assumed they had it. Don't know why they'd remove it. Also, this Bixby cr**p is incredibly annoying. Feel like I might return it just because of that.
