So, I think my eyes glazed over in the case thread after about 3 pages without finding what I needed (and trying search). Has anyone found a water resistant case for the 6P?

The driving features never worked well for me anyway. Had them turned off after trying to make them work via bluetooth while listening to XM.

One of my games has this effect, Angry Birds bubble pop. I believe it's because the app has not yet been optimized for Android M. It should smooth out as the dev updates the app.

I've never been able to sync Verizon cloud contacts with anything. Ditched Verizon, use google contacts instead.

Re: 6P from X Pure? I came from the 2014 X Pure, definitely miss moto display, and gestures. They're brilliant additions to Android, and should be included ASAP. That said, I'll never get another phone without a fingerprint sensor, once I got used to it on the 6p it was the killer difference...

I think the point to take home is that cell phone forums are essentially tech support spaces. People only rarely come here to gush about how amazing their phone is, they want help with the odd rare defect. Since legit tech support is such a pain, forums have taken its place for many of us...

This is probably the main reason why I only use a case when travelling. The dust and lint build up drives me crazy.

You said you're an Android guy, go for the 6p. Also, buying a phone outright, outside of Verizon's upgrade timeline gives you much more freedom, and the 6p basically lets you ditch Verizon as soon as your contract is up if you feel like it.

Yeah, I'd erase all recorded finger prints and start over. I can't find the setting of where to make it only ask for a pin after reboot, but I remember selecting that option when I first set up my fingerprint.

This is really the only reason I close apps via the multi tasking screen. There's no need to close them otherwise, they shut down in the background. App killers are no longer necessary with Android. Also, you don't need to worry about battery memory anymore ;)

I never use a case, and the only time I've dropped my phone, my then girlfriend (I married her) hit it out of my hand with a pillow. I've made an exception for travel with the 6p, and got a Spigen, but I hate how lint builds up along the edges with a case. I keep it naked most of the time.
