Will anyone dare use the 6P without a case?

After a lot of tuff talk about rockin' it naked, I broke down, lol

Yeah, I may be following in your footsteps. lol

After just over a day with mine I definitely think I am going to be sticking a case on mine too. But unfortunately the case that I want won't be shipping for a couple more weeks so until then I'll just have to be extra careful with it.

I watched a video of a (not scientific) drop test from varying heights and at different angles against the iPhone 6s and I'm not near as scared of dropping my Nexus 6P with out a case as I was with my Galaxy Note 2. I'll still keep a case on it, but it was nice to see how durable the 6P is.

People who are going naked... What's up?

I've bought 8 (no joke) different cases for my 6p. The best 2 I've been using are the Spigen thin fit and the Supcase bumper one. I keep taking them off though because the phone just feels so much better with out. The cases give me a little piece of mind when out and about but they all kill the feel. How are people doing without cases? The main thing Im worried about it when I set it down either the screen is touching a surface, or the camera glass is touching a surface. I've got a glass screen protector but I'm still nervous.

Re: People who are going naked... What's up?

I don't use a case and have had no problems with scratching the screen or the camera.

I found a case on Amazon that is clear and adds very little to the N6P size. I do not even notice a difference. I do not use the screen protector. It makes the phone easier to hold also.

Nexus 6P Case - Ringke FUSION [Crystal View] ** Shock Absorption TPU Bumper Drop Protection **[FREE HD Screen Protector] Premium Clear Hard Back [Anti-Static][Scratch Resistant] for Huawei Nexus 6P

I also ended up picking up a Spigen thin fit case and it was exactly what I needed for that tiny extra bit of peace of mind. I honestly doubt that it will add very much drop protection, but it adds a ton of grip making accidental drops far less likely. Plus it gets the front and rear glass up off of any surfaces which is also helps me worry a little less about it. I would highly recommend this case to the type of person who normally prefers not using a case at all.

I always use a case but on this phone in particular I went with a clear case becuase I didn't want to hide the nice looking back of the phone. On a plastic phone I might be tempted to go case-less but not on aluminum. I've seen how other people's aluminum phones look after a year's worth or more of wear and tear and they looked awful

I never use a case, and the only time I've dropped my phone, my then girlfriend (I married her) hit it out of my hand with a pillow. I've made an exception for travel with the 6p, and got a Spigen, but I hate how lint builds up along the edges with a case. I keep it naked most of the time.

I use the S view flip cover, not a lot of protection but I lovd the look of the S view flip cover. I also owned the s6 edge and use the clear view case but this damaged the screen.

So far no damage on the 6p.

I haven't use any cases and screen protectors for my 6p. Im still waiting for my cases to be shipped. Hopefully I dont get any dents on my phone before it arrives

I never used a case but the 6P aluminum is a bit more slippery than my previous phones. I went ahead with a dbrand skin and it have the necessary texture I needed. This and the skin looks great on the phone.

No case. No screen protector. 100% nude. Dropped it twice......no scratches or dings. But I am more concerned about the rear visor than I am the screen. Backwards I know

Been naked w my Frost.. I hate cases! Also stopped using screen protectors last year. Of course, it depends on one's lifestyle and what they do for work. I baby my tech stuff though.

I did break down and order the official Nexus case to use when I don't want to worry about it being scratched...gym, certain activities..

I would but I'm using the Supcase Unicorn Beetle since the guy I traded my 6 Plus to gave it to me with the phone

I'm using the Speck CandyShell case with my 6P. Best case I've ever owned for any phone. Obviously it adds bulk, but so what? The bad thing about added bulk is that all else being equal, it makes the thing harder to handle. But all else is not equal. This case adds so much grip and surface area that it actually makes the phone much easier to handle, even with my small hands.

Still rocking no case four over couple months now. I had few drops from couple feet of ground on to hardwood floor. The phone slipped out my pocket while I was laying on couch. Phone is pretty slipper but you grow custom to it. I have one needle size chip at bottom on aluminum shiny strep is. The phone otherwise is flawless.

I put on a dbrand carbon fiber white skin with black carbon fiber X logo and phone looks and feels even better. I have Frost 64GB 6P so white blends in pretty well.

Anybody get the dbrand full skin and have a review? Especially the sides of the phone.

I wish somebody would make a bumper super thin and a little bit of stickiness (same as on the skins) to keep it in place without adding bulk, but add some minimal protection against bumps and general handling.

Thoughts?
