This may sound really weird but pull your battery cover off and see if it works without the cover on. My OG DX was that way and they replaced it with a DX2.

Not sure if this was the fix or not but from my car dock I clicked the map icon and then selected Google Maps and set a route. It worked the whole way to work and now the compass will pick me up quicker when i first dock my phone.

having same exact issue. Thought it was because I forgot to calibrate my Compass. So I calibrated it and it picked me up once and not again. My drive to work is an hour and it will fail to pick up me the entire time.

I miss my Blackberry at times as well. Typing is the biggest thing I miss.

I have the same charger and use it with my Car Dock. I never have had battery drain. Actually this past Friday I ran my GPS and Pandora at the same time on a 15% charge and by the time I got to my destination about an hour away hard a 65% charge on the battery.

Same issues in the Pittsburgh Area and occasionally in Butler Pennsylvania.

I had the same issue with the media dock opening when I had it in my case with a magnet. Download Dock Nothingness and am happy now.

My phone is stock and reboots randomly.

Mine rebooted in Maps the other day while in the car dock and it has rebooted multiple times when connecting it to the usb.
