Ran the update last night. Phone has froze three times so far requiring soft reset (volume up + power button). Seems the notification bar at the top flickers with temperature and wireless networks available icons. That's the only thing that seems strange.

Thanks for the tip Mooncatt, I disabled the wireless network and the firmware came down in 5 minutes over the mobile network. Clearly something in the wireless network confused the process.

A few times a week my CNN app locks and I have to go to settings, App Info and clear data to get the app to work. The app works for a day or so and locks again. Anyone seeing something similar? Any suggestions on a solution?

Another vote for ProClip. This model is adjustable for cases. The ProClip site can be confusing. You pick a mount for your phone then a mount for your car.

I have text messages that pop-up over the lock screen. Which is good. But with the phone in my pocket, occasionally keys will enter, usually garbage and they haven't sent. But, is there a way to prevent responding to a text until I unlock the phone? I can't seem to find that in settings...

I also had issues pairing my M8 with my Dension adapter. Seems like the best method is to clear all existing devices and start from scratch following pairing directions precisely. Seems the M8 is not as forgiving as some other devices.

I have used ProClip in the past. At this time they do not have an M8 dock but I have signed up to be notified as soon as they come out. Typically they have a mount for the phone without a case and an adjustable mount for phones with cases. I'll post back when I hear more. Car Phone Holders...
