I don't know what to make of a post like this.
I think the key is 'will be." There could very well be CDMA models. I bet it happens
But, right now, the only one available is the GSM unlocked model.
I don't know what to make of a post like this.
Does your Moto G have Dual Sim capability (it looks like it from the photos in the hands on article)? Do you know if this will be available for the UK market?
Yes, XT1550 is DUAL SIM
The Moto G will be available in all four US Carriers, including Verizon.
I read two articles on this matter yesterday, but I'm prohibited to post links on this forum.
Why does Motorola just not start making all of their phones compatible with all carriers. The Nexus 6 is, the new Moto X is going to be so why is the new Moto G lacking in this way.If Motorola really wants to shake things up this would be the way to do it.With a phone almost everyone can afford not a $400 one. Most people I know would never spend $400 on a phone.
There is a CDMA prepaid XT1548 model.
I believe there are Moto G's that support the following:
- GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900MHz
- CDMA 800, 850, 1900MHz
- HSPA+ 850, 1700, 1900MHz
- TD-LTE Band 41 TD2500
- LTE Band 2/4/5/12/17/25/26
- Micro SIM
So, again, who said it would be on Verizon?
I read an article two days ago that both the Moto X and Moto G phones will be available on all four carrier networks, "including Verizon", in the title.
Let me be a little more clear:
This androidcentral forum prohibits me from posting links here because I have less than 10 posts.
I've confirmed that that there is an off-contract CDMA Moto G, specifically for the Verizon network.
Moto X Pure Edition Does Indeed Work on All US Carriers, Including Verizon
It's from Droid-Life.

I stand corrected; It's the Moto X, not the G.
