G4 question

On the 16GB version of the Moto g4 how much memory do you actually get when you first boot up the phone & after the android 7.0 update?

I don't have my device at the moment. However, I don't believe it will be much different that what it had Marshmallow.

Do you no how much it had with Marshmallow? Don't have the phone at the moment but my mum is thinking if getting it.

Just got a G4 Play, and there was something like 10-11 GB free in Marshmallow 6.0.1 before I started loading it up with things.

If after android 7.0 there's the same memory then my mum should be fine. She downloads a few apps but seems to struggle with a phone advertising 8GB's. She seems to fill them up or ends up with very little memory left.
