G4 Play GPS problems

I own such phone since about 1 year.
All fine, except GPS.
Since few months GPS signal gets lost, it can not connect to GPS even after one minute. The map doesn't keep up with where I actually am, and it makes some apps like Waze useless.

Anybody having the same problem? Some fix?

I think GPS is a basic "known problem" with the G4 Play.

It was also problematic on my own G4 Play, which is one reason why I moved over to the E4. The E4 also has VoLTE, which is the primary reason I moved to it.

And anecdotally, the GPS is MUCH better on the E4, at least in my own experience.

This indeed seems to be a common problem with the G4 Play. If you are prepared to open up your phone and invalidate the warranty, the procedure in this post is said to help:
