Moto G4 Doesn't Recognize OTG USB drive?

When I inserted the OTG USB drive, ES File explorer recognizes the drive, but can't read the file. Is it because I used an SD Card as internal storage? Any way I can read the files in the inserted OTG USB drive? Thanks!

You should be able to read the file in es file explorer.
Try root explorer and others to see if they can read the files.
Also, how big is the drive you are using for OTG? Try a smaller capacity and see what happens.
What format is the drive in?
