Just a quick question - apologies if it does not belong here.
I've been looking at the wakelocks on my Moto X because I'm not feeling the battery life is where it should be.
I'm using Wakelock Detector, and the screen wakelocks and CPU wakelocks are clear (more or less) to me and I'm taking steps to address those.
More confusing are the kernel wakelocks - two of them ("main" and "powermanagerservice" have been "on" for almost an hour each, on a phone that's only been powered up three hours.
I'm not sure if I'm truly understanding this, but it seems to be high.
Just to add - I've done a lot of research on this - can't seem to find anything directly associated with it. I would really appreciate any advice.
My question is - on an unrooted phone - is there anything that can be done about kernel wakelocks or is it a case of "it is what it is"?
Any advice to a pretty uneducated user of the the Moto X would be appreciated.
