4.4 Smart Caller ID

Hi, I upgraded to 4.4 about two days ago and I think they skipped on the Moto X what's to me one of 4.4s most interesting feature: the smart caller ID. I've tried doing searches on the caller app like the videos on YouTube do for things like coffee, etc. And its not doing a search. Am I supposed to set it up somehow?

Looks like Caller ID by Google didn't make it to the Moto X, see still1's post below.

On the dialer settings the only option that is given under Caller ID is: Network default, hide number and Show number.

Have you checked that the settings are in fact enabled?

Dialer > Settings > Caller ID by Google
Dialer > Settings > Nearby Places
Dialer > Settings > Nearby Places > View location settings

Offhand I can't think of any other reason for why it might not be working.

smart caller ID feature didnt make it to the Moto X. it is a Nexus exclusive feature.

That's a bummer. Hopefully they'll bring it on another update.
