Moto X 1st gen, screen cracked on proximity sensor, need to disable!
Dropped my phone, have a cracked screen. Yes, I know I should have had a case on it but my hands are tiny and it impairs my use of the device. My main issue is that the crack perfectly goes across the proximity sensor. Now when I make or receive a call, my screen goes blank. I can't hang up or use the key pad for automated menus unless I have my earbud plugged in. I don't want to set the power button to end calls, as I do acess things on my phone during calls, and my automated menu issue would persist. How can I disable either the proximity sensor or the setting for the screen to turn off during calls?
