"I've ordered my Moto X Style" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

Ordered two in the first 10 minutes and was given a delivery estimate of 9/18. Chatted with a CSR who said it was scheduled to ship today. So we'll see if the rep really had some extra insight or not. No changes to the the Moto site or FedEx DM and no e-mail yet. So I'll continue to be patient and wait here.

The date disconnects are apparently due to the devices not all being assembled in the same facility, so the perception of orders being in a series of first in first out is only really relative if assembled and boxed at the same facility. Me thinks mine is in the lesser expedient facility, if this is correct.

I liked the rep since beyond that, she said they do not have much more info than what we see with our orders. Though not what wanted to hear, it seemed BS free.

I ordered on release day afternoon. I'd originally had a 9/15 delivery date, but of course had misgivings and went back to tweak the motomaker build, and the next thing I knew, my ship date was 9/22! :/

It's been stuck in 'Device Being Built' since 9/3.

Says the one I ordered within minutes of moto maker opening September 2, still says it's being built but will be here tomorrow. no email. the one I ordered later in the day arrived 3 days ago.

Ordered the 6th with estimated delivery of 10/2. Then got an email this morning! They must be ahead of schedule! When I check tracking with FedEx it actually says delivery 9/16. View attachment 196701

I just talked to my Brother-in-law (FedEx driver) and he has my phone on his truck. He's going to bring it to me at work instead of taking it to my house. Should have it around lunch time.
