My contacts have always been stored on the cell phone, not in a profile or app. I would use VZ BackUp Assistant to automatically copy them onto a new phone. It seems this is no longer the deal, and contacts are now stored in your Gmail profile.

I used Verizon Cloud to copy my contacts onto my new Pure after pairing with my old phone. But, they are now gone after the sync to the cloud.

How do I import them into Gmail account?

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify a few things? Are you saying that you copied your contacts from Verizon Cloud to your new X Pure, but they were saved to the local Phone account or Verizon account, instead of your Google account?

If you're trying to get your Verizon Cloud contacts into your Google Contacts, then export the contacts from Verizon Cloud into a .csv file, as described here: Export Contacts - Verizon Cloud - Website | Verizon Wireless Then import that file into your Google Contacts: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/14024?hl=en
