Hey!
I bought a Moto X, it turned out to be the X1053 model. The system version is 161.44.35.ghost_row.nii.en.mx, which is Nextel Mexico. When I try to update to 4.4.4 it keeps telling me that there is no update available (4.4.2). I assume it's because of the system version, or Nextel to be more precise. I couldn't find any newer system version from Nextel.
I tried to flash a different system version with RSDLite but I kept getting the error "Please check input file. Either XML format is wrong or image files associated with it are missing".
Then I read something saying that the bootloader has to be unlocked in order to flash a new system version. Is that the case?
Can I flash any firmware I like after unlocking the bootloader?
Hoping to get some help, thank you!
