Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

Different companies have different priorities simple as that.I'd love to hear that Motorola has heard the concerns over the past droids with subpar optics and sensors, but apparently they missed the boat for allot of people. Al one can do is vote with their wallet. I'm simply not that critical over a cell phone camera that's all. It's just my opinion and im not discrediting others concerns. Hopefully it can be addressed in firmware. Sofware can definitely optimize the saturation and in part "perceived detail" but im not so sure about the quality of glass being used.

Nice Photo. I'm more inclined to view interesting comps rather then concrete jungles.

I hear you man. I just wish Motorola would provide a state of the art quality camera experience to match all the other good things they've done with this phone. In regard to future updates, I'd love to see it happen but Motorola's track record doesn't suggest that any update will be forthcoming.

Hopefully Google will push them in the correct direction ;)

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

For anyone worried about washed out looking pics, just download a free app called Photo Editor on the front page of that Play Store search of Photo Editors. It is so simple to use and in less than 5 seconds, you can bring back all of the richness in those washed out photos. I got it and is is a great little app. Now you have a Moto X with rich looking pics.

There are several apps simply titled "Photo Editor." Can you post a link or developer name so I can try the right one? Or is it literally the first one that shows up on the search? TIA.

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

I hear you guys. I have been buying and using Motorola phones for years now. Its just funny because everytime Motorola comes out the new phone the camera of course is terrible and people spend countless hours trying to figure out ways to fix the camera with apps and different kinds of stuff. I bought the Moto X and I actually think the camera is pretty good but with Motorola phones the cameras are what they are. As long as you don't expect too much from a Motorola phone camera you won't be let down.

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

People need to stop knocking the camera. I'm getting some pretty darn satisfactory shots with mine.

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

For those who have the Moto X, how well does the video camera perform in reducing cross frame motion blur compared to other phones? Also, what is the file size for one minute at 1080p for the X?

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

colors dont seem to "pop", but its not as bad as how people depict it to be. Would you say thats how the green apples looked to you or do they seem greener in person?

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

I keep wondering about the argument.. I'm getting some good pics. Not professional but good true life pictures. It seems others are as well.

Can't we go back to slamming the operating system? Oh wait the X8 is turning out to be pretty awesome! Lol

I'm happy w the camera, and I got a great video the other night if a car fire. Its about five seconds long but the video is good quality

Re: Post pictures taken with Motorola X here

I have seen some very nice photos from the Moto X (including Damien's above) but in many cases there is post-processing that has been done. So while it may be true that you can coax some great images out of the Moto X with a little effort, that's still different than getting great images straight out of the camera that you feel good about sharing/publishing spontaneously.
