just got my moto x! is this normal?

Opened the box and put it to charge while it was off. Went to 100% and I started using it. All my usage consisted of was updates on network and setting up email and stuff since its my first time using it. My brightness is at about 40%. its at 79% battery right now at that picture with 26 minutes on screen time. Should I be worried?

Power saver is off. I turned off the un needed syncs of my email like calender and stuff, Bluetooth and WiFi off, location services on

You have to give it a few charging cycles before judging battery life. In a few days you'll notice a lot of improvement.

Also, I factory reset my phones as soon as I get them just so I know I'm starting fresh. You may want to give that a try.

Not sure about having to give it a few charge cycles. This was my first 50% on my first day.

Mine sort of did the same thing. After I got it all set up and everything.. it's been fantastic battery life.

Its actually even doing a bit better today. Blows the doors off of my iPhone 5 that I just listed on eBay 10 minutes ago. Was going to wait before selling my iPhone but I am a moto x believer for sure.

Lucky lol my battery doesn't last not even half. Ill post an update tomorrow with the usage on my 2nd 100% charge still on my first full charge currently at 22%

I thought with these kinds of batteries you were supposed to give them a good 8hr charge on the first go no matter what the % indicator says. If you pulled it off the charger right when you hit 100 maybe that's why?

I'm not sure what the concern is. Yes this is pretty normal, your screen should be using the most battery (unless you're actively navigating, then GPS can suck down a lot of power) if you're ever looking at battery stats and see an app listed above your screen time, you should probably think about uninstalling that app because it's using way too much juice.
